On Wednesday we had the Stations of the Cross, this is a time of prayer and respect. We journey through the day Jesus died for us to forgive our sins and give us eternal life in heaven.
A Year 8 student named Josiah stood before each station as Room 2 kids read each station.
When each child read a station we stopped and let everyone reflect on that station. After the kids read their Station they said a prayer about the station they had just read. This was when everyone started to reflect on this station and what Jesus was feeling when he suffered as he was crucified.
There are 14 stations but sometimes there are 15 stations, it depends if the people want to put the fifteenth station in. The fifteenth station is also known as Easter Sunday.
